As the natural hair movement started to gain traction ten years ago, my client began expressing a desire to embrace their texture. For the first time in our culture, the curls and the kinks we were born with was seen as something beautiful. I wanted to create a way for women to transition using protective styles that didn't require heat or chemical processing. I envisioned a collection with the perfect match for any and every natural texture - one that would celebrate, not conceal, our unique beauty. In 2012, Heat Free Hair was born.
Today, over half a million women around the world have revealed the versatility in all that it means to be natural.

I recommend this product
Wonderful!
I’ve never had a relaxer, never went through a straight hair phase and have never had a weave. Was craving something different but safe this past year. Ordered this on a whim. My regular stylist wasn’t sure how to do tape/ ins but I found someone at Ulta who did a pretty good job on install. Maintenance for me included bimonthly washes. Only one of my tape-ins fell out during that 8 week period and it was no issue for the stylist to add more tape and reinstall that one piece. It washes and styles well- looks good. To blow dried and flat ironed. It’s more expensive that what you can find elsewhere but also looks and feels better than what I’ve seen other people/ places have. My stylists were definitely impressed so much so that one kept the tag and has been recommending HFH to people.
The only drawbacks about this product are 1) there is no extra tape included, which seems strange for a product meant to be reused and 2) the lengths seem inaccurate. My natural hair, when blown out, is maybe an inch or so above bra strap. According to the diagram buried somewhere on this website, the 20” should’ve been a good fit. The 20” was actually way longer than expected (waist length) so I had to pay for them to be cut/ trimmed after install to give me a more realistic look. I only used 3 sets of hair for natural look. I have fine hair with high density and honestly, for a corporate baddie look could’ve used 2 packs and been fine. Either way, highly recommend!
