As the natural hair movement started to gain traction ten years ago, my client began expressing a desire to embrace their texture. For the first time in our culture, the curls and the kinks we were born with was seen as something beautiful. I wanted to create a way for women to transition using protective styles that didn't require heat or chemical processing. I envisioned a collection with the perfect match for any and every natural texture - one that would celebrate, not conceal, our unique beauty. In 2012, Heat Free Hair was born.
Today, over half a million women around the world have revealed the versatility in all that it means to be natural.

My overall experience has been great. I am slightly disappointed at my own fault. I measured my head which resulted in 23". Yet I still purchased the wig at 21-22" for a secured and snug fit. Despite all of this, my wig is far too large for my head. To make matters worse, I already colored it. So it's just sitting in my closet now as a think of recon ideas for this gorgeous hair.
Lesson learned: Try it on prior to coloring or any other alteration to the wig!
Will be purchasing more hair, but not wigs.
I love the wig. I get so many compliments. Many people think it’s my hair. The upart wig blends perfectly with my texture. My only critic is it may tangle in the back and you have to take care of the wig.
I love heatfree hair. I get many compliments when I wear my heatfree hair. It is so close to my hair type and looks so natural. Even though people know my own hair isn't as full and as long as my heatfree hair, they still ask if its my hair.
Caring for my for koils hair is pretty simple once I determined how I wanted to wear the hair. For me personally, it is too much hair, this is not a complaindt. Its my personal choice. I feel the need to consult with a hair stylist to thin it out and shape it. As of now, I haven't done that, but I plan to consult with a hairstylist to get the most out of my "for koils wig."
This is my second purchase and I'm so proud of my heatfree hair!
This is an absolutely beautiful wig! I've gotten a ton of compliments in the 3 days that I've worn it. The hair quality is outstanding and the wig is high quality. My only issue is the size of the wig. It hangs about 3 inches in the back and I have it tightened and only a small amount of hair out. I'm not sure the size of the mannequin head they used, but it's irritating wearing it because I can't secure it well. I have been wearing wigs for years, but I've never owned one this size. If it was a better fit, I'd give it 5 stars in a heartbeat. It's the best quality wig I've ever owned.
